What this schematic unlocks
Read this schematic to learn how to craft the modification listed below. Reading does not give you a finished modification or install it in your equipment.
Scope 2x Mod
Use the aiming action to look through the scope. Scoped rifles and crossbows receive an additional reduction in aimed spread. A further 10% damage bonus requires the relevant Sniper book perk and the hold-breath aiming effect; the scope alone does not grant it.
A smaller spread means shots land in a tighter area. It improves consistency, but does not guarantee that every shot hits the crosshair. Aiming and hip-fire bonuses apply in their respective firing modes.
| Effect | Value |
|---|---|
| Spread while aiming | -10% |
Install the finished modification in a compatible item through Modify. A weapon or tool must be in use, and armor must be worn, for its effects to apply. A loose modification in your backpack does not provide its bonus.
