Why did my quest not start when I entered the building?
Activate the yellow quest marker outside first. Accepting a quest and walking inside normally does not start it. Activation can restore the building and its contents.

I killed the visible zombies. Why is my Clear quest unfinished?
Check remaining objectives, basements, roofs and marked areas. Some enemies activate when you enter the correct area or interact with something. If the objective still cannot progress after completing the route, the quest may have a bug.

It helps you find an area with a remaining threat. Check above and below your current floor. It is a search hint, not always an exact enemy position through a wall.

Track the quest and look for its special supplies rather than ordinary loot. Follow the marker and check height differences. Fetch and Clear requires both collecting supplies and clearing enemies.

An active quest may require you to stay within its area until the objectives are complete. Leaving, dying or ending the session can invalidate it or require a restart. An unfinished location is not a saved checkpoint.

Check your progress counter, required completions and the daily progression limit. Quests beyond the limit may still provide rewards without advancing the tier. Also claim the tier completion reward.

Do not assume so. Each player must accept the shared quest, meet participation requirements and have appropriate tier access. Check each player's journal and progress before activating the location.

Bring a shovel and dig within the marked area to find the container. Digging narrows the search area. Prepare an exit and a weapon because searching and collecting supplies can bring enemies.

It contains more and tougher enemies and offers extra loot benefits. Bring more ammunition, healing and inventory space. Knowing the ordinary building does not guarantee an easy clear.

Opening hours and purchase limits depend on world rules. Check the time, inventory restock day and whether that item type has reached its purchase limit. Another trader may buy additional supplies.
Link to this answerCan I open a trader gate with a vehicle horn?
Yes. Approach the exterior doors and use the horn when the prompt appears. Not every vehicle will fit through the opening. This interaction was added in version 3.2.
