A heavy hit or another attack can temporarily limit movement and your ability to defend yourself. Read the exact effect name.
How to treat or respond
Once able to move, break contact and wait for the effect to expire somewhere safe. Treat any accompanying wounds; do not assume restored HP removes a movement restriction.
Prevention
Keep distance and a retreat route. Suitable armor and perks can improve resistance, but do not replace avoiding hits.
