Farm Plot Block
A farm plot is required to plant crops. It can be dug up and placed elsewhere.
Put the crafted block on your hotbar, hold the Reload action and select the Shape entry from the radial menu. Click or Shift-Click to select a variant to build with.

Use the appropriate harvesting or salvage tool. Different ways of destroying an object can yield different materials, and skills can affect the result.
